In a meeting with Dr. Iraj Shahin Baher, Tabriz Mayor, referring to the seventy year of bilateral cooperation between Iran and Austria, Stefan Schultz, Austrian Ambassador, stated that Tabriz is the tourism capital of Islamic countries in 2018 and Austria is ready to cooperate in the fields of science, mother industries and tourism.
Later in his remarks, ambassador said: "We have very strong political readiness to conduct interactions with the aim of strengthening bilateral economic relations. In this regard, Adopting infrastructures of technology for modern urban administration are available in Tabriz”.
Schultz appreciated the great efforts of the managers in urban cleanliness, adding this issue will not be possible without ceaseless and constant endeavors of authorities and citizens.
The Austrian ambassador continued that there are significant documents on the satisfaction of Austrian tourists from the hospitality and open-mindedness of Tabriz people throughout history, and added the Austrian embassy is ready to cooperate and facilitate the presence of Austrian investors in Tabriz.
During the meeting, Grab Meyer, the economic advisor to the Austrian embassy, emphasizing the visit of Tabriz city administrators to the pilot system of energy production from Vienna waste, said: "One of the applications of electricity generation, resulted from burning of urban waste in Vienna, is used in the system of large urban buses”.
Grab Meyer finally stated that with the participation of companies and institutions, our various companies can work with Tabriz municipality in various dimensions to develop and deepen relationships and investments.
